A Word From Dustin…

1 Timothy 4:11-14

11 These are the things you must insist on and teach. 12 Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. 13 Until I arrive, give attention to the public reading of scripture, to exhorting, to teaching.

I am so excited for the youth to lead the church body in worship this Sunday. They have worked very hard in the past couple of weeks to make sure that our worship is something that is unique to them but also has the structure of our regular
Sunday service.

The students are excited to share some of their favorite songs that we sing in youth on Wednesday nights. I hope that you take the opportunity to invest in the students this week and let them know that you are proud of the work they have done to lead us to the throne.

I truly believe that one of God’s callings in all of our lives is to invest in the younger generation to raise up Godly men and women to lead throughout our congregation. They say it takes a village to raise a child, so I cannot thank you all enough for the role that you play in our student’s lives. Now, we are so excited to enjoy worship with you all!

Thanks for sharing the journey,

 FCC Youth

On Wednesday Evening, June 14th  , There will be Wednesday night Youth Group where we will do a run through of Youth Sunday, and the students will participate in Communion to end the service. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the lesson will start at 6:30. If possible, please try to arrive on time. We do many activities on Wednesday nights, and I want to make sure that the students get the full experience before the 8:00 p.m. pick up time.

On Sunday Evening, June 18th , We will not be having a Sunday night service this week to respect anyone traveling for Father’s day or anyone that has family in town. Enjoy your time with your family, and we will meet back up on June 21st for our First Day of Summer Lock-in!
