A Word from Mike…

What a wonderful kick-off to our Holy Week from our choir and soloists under the leadership of Neil Whyte and director, Hunter Birkhead! The transitions they walked us through of the Last Supper, the betrayal and the crucifixion were deeply passionate and moving.

The journey of Holy Week is a roller coaster of emotion. We read in scripture of the triumphant entry into Jerusalem, the confusion of Maundy Thursday, the shocking nature of the Messiah nailed on a cross and the fulfilled promise of resurrection.

May each of these authentic emotions be a part of our shared Holy week experience. Thanks be to God.

Mike
