First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ)

Dear Congregation,

I would like to take this time to thank you all for the love and support you have shown me over the past two years. In every moment that I have spent at FCC, I have felt like a valued part of your family, and I have meant to return that same love to you all.

As I near completion of my Master’s degree, a definite milestone in my life, I must let you all know that I will be leaving the church at the end of May to pursue personal and professional opportunities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I want you all to know that you will remain in my prayers. The memories that I have of my time with you all will be cherished. I hope that you will continue to invest in your personal faith, and that you may look to each other for strength, comfort, and encouragement as brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. This is the example which you have set for me, and I plan to pass it forward as the Spirit guides me in my next adventure.

With a heart full of gratitude,
Hunter Birkhead
