Weekly Newsletter 10.13.2022

Dear Members & Friends of First Christian Church Midwest City,

The 2022 Capital Campaign “IMPACT TOMORROW TODAY” was officially announced at the end of the worship service, Sunday, October 2nd. Mitsy Martin Davis, Campaign Co-Chair, introduced the campaign with a detailed and informative presentation. If you missed that, it’s still available for viewing on the church’s YouTube channel:

We are currently in the pledge portion of the campaign. Our capital goal over the next three years is to reach $480,000 in pledges with 100% participation of every church member. Every gift is important to help reach our goal.  We ask that all pledge cards are turned in to the church by Friday, October 21 so they may be tallied.

We plan to have a Celebration Sunday on October 23rd when we announce that we’ve reached our goal of $480,000!

You can pick up a pledge card at the church or call the office and one can be mailed to you. All pledge cards will be kept confidential.

Thank you for your support as we Impact Tomorrow Today!

There will be lots of free games, blow up toys, and food that
will be available for purchase! We are asking for donations of small pre-packaged treats, small toys for game prizes and lots of CANDY! There’s a  box in the narthex to place your donations.

Thank you  for your help to make this a fun event for the
children in our church and our community!

Children’s Corner is turning 20 years old!
Our annual birthday fundraiser helps cover costs during these tough times and purchase some multicultural playthings! Children’s play environments should be both a mirror and a window.  As if looking in a mirror, they should see themselves in the things they interact with at school.  Equally important is that their play environment creates a window into worlds that are different than their own.  This way, we create a generation that has a healthy self image and a better understanding of the differences among us and the many things we all have in common. If you would like to contribute please note Children’s Corner Birthday Party on your donation. Thank you FCC MWC for your continued support of this program!
